I’m Ayşe Kiper, an artist and multidisciplinary designer. For me, the act of creation is an instinct. It’s the purpose of my existence in this world. My ideas come to life in numerous forms whether they are labelled “art” or “design”. It’s okay to blur the lines sometimes.

I take inspiration from many disciplines across life, the main ones being poetry, philosophy, and astronomy. I contemplate alternative realities, different modes of living & being; and speculate about how 3-dimensional forms and visual patterns surrounding us can lead to different behaviors or emotional states. At the end, everything is about storytelling. I challenge preconceived notions about the boundaries of creative expression. The duality between art and design acts as a fuel that ignites my approach to the work.

I’ve worked with artists such as İsmet Doğan, Christophe Roberts, Alex Schweder, and Ward Shelley. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. I currently reside and work in Istanbul, Türkiye.
